I've been working some more on my Class E design for 630M and am now at the point where I need to convert the sine wave to CMOS levels while preserving symmetry. The symmetry is more important for Class E. This can be brute forced with a comparator of course but wonder if anyone has some links to some simpler approaches.

I've ordered parts to breadboard the design up to this point and one I get something showing on the scope I'll have a better idea of the challenge.

Ideas welcome!

Hi Jim,

you may try a LVDS squarer. I will add it in Files as LVDS squarer. There was a +5V dual LVDS RX DS90C402 but I do not know if it is still available. All LVDS now are for 3V supply (3.0-3.6V). The LVDS squarer in my circuit diagram, which I use in the 3T and 2T H-Mode Mixer, uses a FIN1002 at 3.6V (absolute max voltage +4.6V). There are no adjustments, Out Rise Time 0.6nS and Out Fall Time 0.5nS typical, skew max 0.4nS.
