ordered parts from Digikey and they charged me nearly 50 USD to ship a
small padded bag containing ten ICs.
Mouser are a lot more reasonable with their shipping costs and they
therefore get many orders from me.

has another advantage. They do not have the 10 piece minimum on the the caps. But,
74FST3251(or74CBT3251) ic's are not available from Mouser in the ssop size. So far, I have
only found them at DigiKey and Newark. I do have some free samples coming from TI.
Also, if the IC's are a problem, I could buy some from DigiKey and send them out.
Do you have any experience ordering from Newark? I noticed on the Farnell-UK site that
they are affiliated with Newark, so that may make things easier.
This is my first experience designing a project and sending boards overseas. Didn't realize
we were so spoiled with the part situation over here.
