Hi,

Many analogue switching mixers, like the H and the Tayloe, are represented in ssb, suppressed carrier mode.
Have not seen much for cw transmission.

How do you unbalance a tayloe four phase mixer to pass a carrier for cw transmission ? Do you inject a 5 volts, to where ?

You can put a I and Q single freq audio tone into the IF ports.
Works the same as SSB, but a single freq audio generates an unmodulated
carrier.
