With the obsoleting of many of the 2SC CB transistor output finals... seems that the "univeral replacement" on all the CB radio sites is called the ERF2030. RF Parts has them for $2.95.

While they have a zillion application notes on using this transistor in all sorts of CB and 11-meter-illegal stuff as replacements, I'm not able to determine who makes this part or what its actual specs are. It looks like it may be a RF MOSFET in fact.

It is sold by "EKL Components" which seems to mostly sell thinly-veiled illegal 11M equipment.

Is this a relabeled Mitsubishi RF MOSFET? Or something else? Any actual datasheets?

I am (on moral principles) opposed to doing business with any outfit that is in the business of selling illegal 11M stuff but am curious as to what this part really is.

The CB crowd has some pretty loose morals and it's quite common to sell
devices that are not really what they say they are, often they sell a
IRF510 as just about any other part number.

pin-outs: 1 2 3
Mit RF MOSFET: G S D
IRF510: G D S

What 2SC do you need?
