I'm designing a crossover circuit to drive 5 speakers that will use 20 or so L-R-Cs.
An ideal package would allow for the drawing of the schematic and then perform the analysis at the points of where the speakers will be.
Thanks in advance.

I got it as part of a bundle with Eagle PCB software a few years ago.

I like the free LT Spice from Linear Technologies. Although it is
described a Spice for LT's power supply components it is also a
general purpose tool for about any kind of low frequency SPICE
analysis. The Hands On Radio column in QST has been talking about it
for the past three issues. You can get it from
http://www.linear.com/designtools/software/.
ELSIE (http://www.tonnesoftware.com/elsie.html) might also be useful
but I don't think it will do everything I understand you want it to do.
Regards,
Ken

It is a slightly limited free edition, but it is powerful enough that I have
used it not only for my homebrew stuff, but used it at work as well. I like
it because it has the easiest, most intuitive user interface I've ever
encountered in a SPICE package. (I have no connection to the company, and
have never used their full-up, unrestricted product.)

to it.

they have both a Windows and Linux version.

Sam Morgan5299 2010-09-29 19:50:52 Michael Dunn Specialized AM/FM BCB Rx design...OT? Hi all. I'm working on a somewhat unusual design - for an AM/FM
rcvr that is preset to one, and only one, frequency in each band.
Quality has to be at least "mid-range"; cost has to be low-range!
I've got a number of potential parts on my short-list (see below),
but if you can suggest any other ideas/parts/approaches, I'd be most
grateful. I'm hesitant to attempt a discrete design due to lack of
experience...
Here's what I've found so far:
TDA7021 (FM)
TDA7088 (FM)
TA2132 (FM/AM)
TEA5777 (FM/AM)
One of the Silicon Labs parts (FM/AM)
Thx!
Michael
