I would venture to say that you could consider regulators as part of the power source. Do not include them in the schematic for the transceiver.

Or use a Zener. The regulation should be good enough for this application.

Ah, the lawyers come out of the woodwork. :^)= Extrinsically, I would say that they are a single component, but of course, intrinsically they are several, but QRP ARCI has the last word.
