Hi Rick, suggest that sounds a bit easy! So when he finishes that try something a bit more challenging and make a point contact transistor, and make a radio out of that.....It is possible....it is a long time ago now but I believe a schoolfriend of mine did it in about 1956..... using parts of "Westectors" and some slivers of mica to define the spacing.
