I'd like to build a  band imaging receiver for 80 & 40M using an IF at 1750 kHz. I'm looking for crystals at 1750 and/or a crystal filter at this frequency. Either CW or SSB bandwidth crystal  filters would be fine. Not having much success with the usual sources. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chip NW0O

Hi Chip why 1750?? I would have thought the carrier osc would give a massive
signal at 3.5 and 7.0Mhz , steralising the lower end of the CW section.
There are lots of 1.4MHz filters around at reasonable prices although they
are used in some Racal recievers, and there are a lot of reasons to go even
higher.

Hi folks, good afternoon:

For those who wants to see and listen to a very interesting working band image receiver, as well as description and the behaviour of single crystal IF 1700 KHz filter (with its variable capacitor phasing control being rotated when receiven a signal) , I suggest watching the movie on the following link:

The receiver´s IF filter is very similar to that seen
