Byron, you are correct...I went,looked and verified with an old circuit that I had built when SSD was first published....TI's number is in fact the TL442CN you described...I have it in that circuit that I built decades ago.....John K5IRK

Quest Components is showing 35 TL442CN available, although I am not sure whether they have a minimum order or not. They are reliable, I've ordered from them before. They are a combination stocking distributor and parts broker, so they might not actually be in their inventory.
