Hello friends,

We are working in a new minismalist
transceiver for the 40m band.

This machine has only one active device,
a low cost IRF510 MOSFET.

The power can be easily 2W. The reception
is excellent because we are using a computer
doing signal processing.
You can listen it in this video:

The work is on going, more details well be published here

We hope your comments here

Hi Fellows,

I listened to your receiver on YouTube. I thought the quality sound was very good.

Can you provide additional detail

Yes;it was a great surprise for us listen that siganls!

Well, the IRF510 is working as a regenerative receiver:
oscillating and mixing at the same time.
The MOSFET are not rectifing the radiofrequency.
Yes, the radiofrequency enters in the gate by the xtal,
and output amplified in the drain.
The audiosignals are amplied annd filtered in the computer
with a software named KGKSDR.

Hi
I am new to the group. Can you tell me where I can listen to the Mosquito receiver on U-Tube. I could not find it on the web anywhere.
Thanks

hello all,

*****************************
a very nice feature of this small transceiver is
you can receive stations while the transmitter is running
*****************************

this can be understood like a receiver with a biasing current of 500mA

you can do a very funny things, like a 40meters
transverter modulating a signal received ten khz up.

currently we are modulating the gate voltage with an audio signal from the computer.... like a simple AM TX.

stay tuned!
