In the UVFO schematic (figure 12.78) on p.12-46 EMRFD, what is the
function of J5 (labeled "T")? I can't for the life of me figure it out!
Also, does anybody other than Kanga make PC boards for these projects?
I am not against doing it ugly style, but if there are, I'd appreciate
it. Thanks!

PS- I have nothing against Kanga- it's just that his business has been
down since he was flooded last spring...

When you short J5, the output switches from the RX I out and RX Q out
ports to the TX Out. The isolating diode allows you to connect that
in parallel with other "ground to transmit" connections, including a
key for break-in operation.
