Message Date From Subject 1763 2008-07-01 18:02:32 wb7dmx digital scope I am thinking about buying this scope and was impressed by what all it
can do, I like the fact that it also works like a spectrium analyzer.
I knkw it is limited as far a bandwidth is concerned but for what I
will use it for, mainly hf frequencys on my test bench, it should be ok.
I am looking for you guys thoughts as I have a high respect for your
ideas and work.

your workbench, along with the space for it.
It's comparable to the stand-alone Tektronix TDS 210, which was introduced
10 to 12 years ago, and was recently discontinued. That originally sold for
about $1,800, but recent close-outs were in the $800 range. Occasionally,
you can get them for about $600 on Ebay. They're light, compact and
accurate. See:

If you don't already have a workbench computer, the TDS210 would be a good
alternative, although it won't do spectrum analysis..
