All, I've been looking into building the spectrum analyzer mentioned in the emrfd book. At the very end of the article on the tracking generator (on the cd), the article mentions that this setup isn't suitable for use with setting up narrower crystal filters. What would be needed to make it so? Would it work for establishing the bandpass width? Is it just unsuitable for doing phase measurements? Or do I need to look for another solution? tim ab0wr
