Hello all,

I got an email this morning from N2PK informing me that Harold Johnson, W4ZCB, passed away at age 92.    We remember Harold as a life long homebrew enthusiast who also shared his efforts with the rest of us.    For example, Harold was one corner of the "Triad" transceiver in EMRFD Chapter 6.    In earlier times, he was a founder of the company Signal One.   Harold was a colorful, fun guy who I met at Dayton in 2007.    We will miss him and will continue to applaud his contributions.

73, Wes

So sorry to hear that.
Harold  was very helpful in providing me with some MMIC  devices for a  repair project.
I really enjoyed talking with him over the phone.

He will be missed .

RIP Harold. What a fantastic engineer. He helped me with several projects and stayed with us on several occasions. So generous.
Condolences to Alice and his family

I am very sorry for Harold, W4ZCB, SK. Yesterday I received an e-mail from my good friend Bill, W7AAZ, about Harold departure.
I came to know him via Bill and had quite technical exchanges particularly when the first shared N2PK VNA pcb we were able to produce in Italy. We had exchanges about the G3SBI H-Mode Mixer and the G3XJP project Pic-A-Star. I am very sorry I never met him personally.

Condolences to his family and his good friends
