Message Date From Subject 1526 2008-03-28 09:49:53 Dan Reynolds Looking for parts help I'm going to build the QRP2004 transceiver project
<http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/qrp2004/> and I'm having problems sourcing
a few items.
I need two INA163 inst. amp chips (SOIC 14), two BA244 diodes and seven
BAT85 diodes. The diodes could probably cross-reference to something
else but I didn't find anything by Google-ing around and just wasn't
comfortable enough in my skills to try and "cross reference" them
myself.
Nobody seems to have the INA163's in stock (it's a Burr Brown chip).
Thanks for any help...

Diodes are stock components here, If you don´t find any in the US?

those INA163's (Mouser still doesn't have them). When I asked they had
no delivery date.
As soon as I don't check and post here then everyone has them!! :-)
Anyway I've ordered them. And the BAT85(S) diodes.
Now if I can just find some BA244's - I might peruse that auction site
that starts with an 'E' again...
[I tried that Octopart but the company I ended up at, Quest had a weird
way of pricing things.]
Thanks Michael and Thomas.

Look at this web link TI has them shown as an active device .
got to this link
http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/ina163.html
It will give you info1536 2008-03-30 14:56:51 Dan Reynolds Re: Looking for parts help All is well. I've got everything on order.
I think I've found a substitute for the BA244 diode.
In the 2006 Handbook, chapter 10, page 10.48, 10.49 - shows a
schematic with several of the beasties and in the parts list it states
that a 1N4152 is a suitable cross reference to the BA244.
I'm going to double check the data sheets but that's what I'm going
for at this point.
Thanks for all the help.
