Hi all A few weeks ago on this group we had some discussion about using filtering to turn Si570 or Si5351A squarewaves into sinewaves for a wideband signal generator. I have now released QRP Labs VFO Kit http://qrp-labs.com/vfo firmware s1.03 which can control the 6-band relay kit. I have written up the measurements I made a couple of weeks back into QRP Labs App Note AN006 http://qrp-labs.com/appnotes - the overall summary of the result is: - Rotary encoder tuned signal generator with 1Hz resolution - Squarewave 3.5kHz to almost 300MHz - Sinewave output 10.8dBm +/- 0.4dBm over 2.9MHz to 34MHz range - Worst case -45dBm spurious content on the sinewave output - Optional GPS discipline to better than 0.1ppm I put together a kit set in the QRP Labs shop which includes VFO/SigGen kit, Si5351A Synth kit, 6-band relay switch kit, and 6 Low Pass Filter kits.
