Our own Dr. Rick Campbell is a speaker again this year. Don't miss it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Upwards of 250 QRPers from all over the world will again gather for
an added day (May 16) before the 3 day Dayton Hamvention at a
function called Four Days In May sponsored by the 15,000 member QRP
Amateur Radio Club International. First, there is the all day
Thursday seminar lineup consisting of:

George Dobbs, G3RJV - Putting the L back in Solder

Rick Campbell, KK7B - Direct Conversion Receivers/Transmitters

Roy Lewallen, W7EL - Baluns:What they do and how

Jeremy McDermond, NH6Z -The softer side of OpenHPSDR

Colin Turner, G3VTT - Salt Water, Medium Waves, and QRP

Joe Eisenberg, K0NEB -Techniques forKit Building Success

QRP is not just about operating at ridiculously low power (yes, we
do) but about experiments, tinkering, building, and just having fun.
On Thursday evening we'll have Vendor Night (FREE), a mini-hamfest
in itself while on CLUB night Friday (also FREE) we'll have club
recognition, the homebrew contest, and dozens of QRP show and tell
items on display, followed by the Great Dummy Load Contest at 10PM.
This finishes Saturday night at the banquet with thousands of
dollars of door prizes.

This all happens at QRP CENTRAL-the Holiday Inn, Fairborn, OH which
is a short 10 miles from the Hamfest. It's all explained at
http://www.qrparci.org/fdim where we need your early registration
now.

Everyone is invited to attend all or a portion of this annual event.
It's not just about 5 watts anymore!
