Hello Group

I'm slowly getting the parts together for the EMRFD Spectrum Analyser and was wondering about the significance of the two values of feedthrough capacitors in the updated Log Amplifier.

The supply and output lines use 1nF feedthrough capacitors and the front panel IF Gain (10k pot) uses 5nF. Would it be okay to use a 1nF value in both places?

Meantime, having been prompted by the great work of Todd VE7BPOI (http://www.qrp.pops.net), I'm reading my just acquired copy of EMRFD and finding lot's of inspiration.
