I have oodles of cup cores left over as a result of too close coupling
with W1FB and Oak Hills Research.

One size is 1-5/8 diameter and 1-1/4 inch tall. This one has a 2 mm
gap in the center post to prevent saturation. There was a 100 Watt
homebrew switcher in QST a number of years back that used this
particular core. Measures 2.73 mH with the winding on its bobbin,
varnished but readily broken apart with an overnight soaking in
Acetone.

The other one is 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 3/4 inch tall, and its
center post does NOT have a gap. Also a winding on it's bobbin but
again readily changed to whatever. The existing winding on both are
about #20 copper and the material is 3C8.

LC filters, VLF, switchers, the mind boggles.

Probably well over 100 of each available, free to good home for
shipping costs. Snail mail address and e-mail address OK on QRZ.com

Well, it appears that I had closer to two oodles of these. Despite filling several large orders, I have about 85 small cup cores left, and close to 100 of the large ones. It's going to take some more customers to keep the rest out of the landfill.
