I just posted a picture of one of the methods I use for soldering smt devices, this holds the part in place while I can use both hands to do the soldering, weather using the cup warmer and hot air reflow method or hand soldering, so far it has worked great for even the smallest devicesi have used, the ftdi chip was the smallest one to date. bob WB7DMX
