Hi All,

Just received my copy of the EMRFD reprint (Thanks Wes and others) and looking in the articles at the first one CQ199301a (Crystal Filters)  it refers to LADPAC program.  Is it still available and does it run on Linux?

Thanks,

Will

Lapdac is available on the cd of emrfd as well as from www.w7zoi.net
Lapdac works under wine on Ubuntu. I can confirm that.

Thanks Ashhar.  The old software is NOT included with the new reprint.  ARRL just say " Software referenced throughout the book is not included and not available."

Will try W7ZOI web site.

Cheers,

Will

Check the W7ZOI website. The software is available as a download. It may
be an older version, but it will suffice. Look under EMRFD information,
"Software Update". As of  4/5/17, it was still available.

It certainly runs on linux under Wine or DOSemu.

Hi all,

LADPAC has been cancelled and is no longer available for download.   It will no longer be supported.   This is probably a good thing, for it will encourage all of us to go back to the basic mathematics rather than using a program.    I put a bit more information on my web site, "w7zoi.net".

Please folks, let's not have a string of responses about other other programs.    We all know what they are and probably have them on a CD somewhere.    Thanks.

Hi Richard,

I am using LADPACK-2008. I think it is not available anymore from the original source (http://www.arrl.org/product-notes) or directly from W7ZOI's web site.

my suggestion would be to use the wayback machine on the ARRL's product-notes URL and get the (then) latest version which is still the latest available.

hope that helps.

The last version I have is 2008.

See Wes's note about the software on his site.
