Hi all. I remember having one ex army head phone. It had a rocking amateur inside. Think you just connect another head phone of the same type to it via a long wire. It didn't need a power supply. Think they were used to communicate between a gunner on a war ship and the bridge. On my crystal set with a one transistor amplifier it was loud. Almost like a speaker.
